Here, you’ll explore exhibitions that tell the story of Avaldsnes, from the Stone Age through the Middle Ages, and learn how its history is connected both locally and internationally

This QR code system is part of a pilot project designed to improve the visitor experience. By scanning the QR code, you can access translations in 70 different languages. First, select your preferred language, then choose either the "Direct" or "Curator's" version of the description. You can also decide whether you’d like to read the text or listen to the translation.

Each description is available both as written text and as an audio story on your mobile device. The "Description of non-human object" section is specifically intended for visually impaired and elderly visitors. Scroll down to access the full translations.

Each poster features a unique QR code or number, which uses artificial intelligence to provide translations. Feel free to explore the posters in any order that suits you.
